The rich DARAS system has just met the LOSP and this is no coincidence. Indeed, always in search of more products and foodstuffs to feed these inner systems, the Lospean Confederation has just gained a foothold in DARAS, an important agricultural system in the region.
The Palladium Syndicat, the Confederation's commercial body, seems determined to establish itself there on a long-term basis to guarantee the stability of cereal prices in its mother system (JITABOS), even if this means seriously reducing the market shares of local players. Moreover, Daras Inc, the system's main cereal production and distribution company, immediately saw its share price decline when this new competitor joined the system.
The official representative of the syndicat underlined that the Confederation was not a commercial company - like others, solely seeking profit -, but a political organisation promoting a fair sharing of resources between all actors in the agricultural sector, promising to buy at a better price than its competitors, the products of small hydroponic farmers.
